Penguin wants to break books back into mainstream culture.
Sharing Chapters: Powered by Penguin aims to integrate books back into our everyday conversations, sparking
a sense of joy and discovery with every interaction.
This initiative gives anyone a free chapter everyday, allowing you to view, save or share via our online
hub. To access a chapter, you can tap on one of the interactive plinth’s dotted around London with your
phone, or scan one of the QR codes printed onto our stickers which will be placed all over.
Sharing Chapters incorporates the responsive and participatory nature of digital media with the reading
experience. By merging this with interactive, physical interventions, and making the content short and
shareable, it serves as the catalyst for conversations, fostering a sense of community and shared
experiences around the books that readers discover.
