TYPE TANA is the home of type from home.
Inspiration & creativity can be found almost anywhere,
but for us, it flows from the heart, and home is where the heart is.
TYPE TANA was born to celebrate and protect the rich & colourful design heritage
cultivated by our little island of Malta. By capturing an element of Maltese design,
we hope designers can find inspiration in what came before them,
to help them create what comes next.
This project features 5 custom typefaces which I developed based on type signs from the streets of Malta.
